Fight ALS with No Shave November

A Unique Way to "Grow" Health Awareness...

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)

"Lou Gehrig's Disease”

During the month of November, I will be raising money to help fight ALS, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. I will utilize "No Shave November" as an opportunity to help raise awareness and “grow” donations for research to help fight this terrible disease. While there is no cure or any effective treatment; scientists are learning more about this disease in effort to help find a treatment.

Many of us have known someone in our own lives who has faced this battle. On August 13, 2013, I lost my friend Keith Peterson from Ord, Nebraska to this disease. Unfortunately, I saw first hand the devastating effect this disease has on someone and their loved ones. I am in awe at the courage Keith and others have demonstrated when they face this disease.

Please join me this November while I grow my Beard, Goatee or Fu Manchu by donating anything you can spare: your loose change, dollar bills, your soda or latte funds for the week, I’ll even take your gold teeth fillings or your spouse’s diamond ring :-)...anything will help!  (The guys at our Maple St location are jumping on board to grow ALS donations during No Shave November as well!  Donations accepted at both our Pacific Village [7611 Pacific St.] and Maple Village [10118 Maple St] locations).

Thank you and God’s Blessings this Holiday Season,
