Morgan Chaffin's 1st Place Corporate Cup Finish 2015
On September 13, Specialized Physical Therapy took part in the 35th annual American Lung Association Fight for Air Corporate Cup. This annual event began in 1981 and is the largest running and walking event in Nebraska. This year 2,221 participants took on the challenging 10k course. The money raised from this event supports lung disease research and lung health programs. The SPT team took part in the 10k which started and finished at Aksarben Village in Omaha. The SPT team included: physical therapist David Potach (PT), physical therapist assistant Brad Walchek (PTA), and physical therapy techs - Jordan Augustine and Josuf Robinson. The team was led by Morgan Chaffin (SPT sponsored athlete). Everyone raced well and enjoyed the course! Morgan was the first female overall finisher and has the record time (39:12) for the current 10K course—congratulations Morgan!! We want to give special thanks to DiGiorgio’s Sportswear for designing our great, moisture wicking race team shirts! Specialized Physical Therapy looks forward to participating in more fun, health promoting events in the near future!
